“We held a celebration of life for my brother Paul Nunes with our family and friends, and I was pleased with everything they did for me,the staff were lovely, helpful and friendly and did everything to make sure that everything went well.  So I would like to thank Jean who was lovely and made sure that all the food was topped up etc,I would definitely recommend the Holiday Inn Southend on sea to my family and friends,thank you once again.”

“The Staff at The Holiday Inn 1935 Rooftop Restaurant could not have been more helpful and professional when organising this very sad family occasion for us. In particular Events Coordinator Hayley and Catering Manager Muhamad were so kind and made the whole event very dignified and actually a happy celebration of my Father’s life which under the strict guidelines and conditions they had to put into place was amazing. We are so grateful that some of his Family and Friends were able to raise a glass in one of my Dad’s favourite coffee stop. Superb food and copious cups of tea and coffee were always on hand. A lovely place to eat and celebrate an event if you are able to.”
