Where is the hotel?
The hotel is located next to London Southend Airport and Airport retail park. 77 Eastwoodbury Crescent, Southend-on-Sea. SS2 6XG. For further info on trains to and from Southend Airport train station see here
Is there car parking at the hotel?
The hotel offers 300 parking spaces in front and adjacent to the property with the entrance located at the rear of the hotel. As the car park is managed by London Southend Airport, parking fees apply: overnight guests par £10, non-residents pay £17.50, and restaurant/bar patrons (with a £5 minimum spend) have free parking for 3 hours. Conference and event attendees park for free.
Collect a ticket upon entry and present it to reception for validation and concessionary rates.
General Information
Do I need ID to be able to check in?
Yes you will need proof of ID and proof of payment card to check into the hotel.
Is here a safety deposit box available at the hotel?
No. All bedrooms have a safe.
What age do you class as children for the purpose of the hotel?
For children to qualify for the Holiday Inn Kids Stay & Eat for Free programme, the children must be under the age of 13 years. However minimum age for check in individually is 18 years. Please ensure you can provide valid ID.
Is there Wi-Fi available at the hotel?
Yes – the hotel has Wi-Fi available throughout the whole hotel and is available free of charge to all guests. The hotel also has a PC for guest use available on the ground floor.
Do you provide a service for late check-out/early check-in?
Late check-out and early check-in is subject to availability. Fee applies. Please contact the front desk for more details.
Do you have rooms with a bathtub?
All rooms have a bath and shower except the accessible rooms which have a wet room shower.
What is your smoking policy?
All bedrooms and public areas are non-smoking. A smoking area is available outside the entrance of the hotel where there are benches and cigarette bin.
Do you provide cot beds and high chairs?
Yes, we provide high chairs and we have a few Graco travel cots and advanced booking is advised to availability.
What happens if I need to cancel my booking?

Dining
Do you have 24-hour room service?
Yes we do have a 24-hour room service menu with limited items available between 11pm and 6am.
What options for dining are there in the hotel?
1935 Rooftop Restaurant & Bar is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week serving traditional British food with a modern twist. Bookings are advisable but not always necessary. You can book online or call 0845 092 1935. We also have room service available in the bedrooms. Dietary requirements can be catered to upon request however, we offer a selection of vegetarian options of the menu.
